Using the service

You are responsible for your account, credentials, and requests made by connected agents. Only authorize clients you trust. Do not bypass access controls or usage limits, disrupt the service, or use it unlawfully.

Plans and limits

The Free plan includes 100 successful calls per UTC calendar month, resetting on the first at 00:00 UTC. Account, help, watchlist, filing-inspection and extraction-job status operations are unmetered. Each successful filing-search page uses one call. Each successfully processed document in document search or extraction uses one call; failed documents are not counted.

Paid costs $50 USD per month and includes unlimited calls, subject to request rate limits. Plans are for personal use only. Commercial use requires a custom license; contact hello@pubcodb.com.

Purchasing requires a separate checkout through Stripe. Access depends on confirmed payment and subscription status. Existing subscribers manage plan changes through the billing portal.

Research data

Coverage varies by source, company, document, and period. Document availability varies by format and access mode. Results can be incomplete, delayed, or incorrect. Check original sources before relying on them. Better Filings does not provide investment advice or guarantee investment outcomes.

Source documents and third-party materials remain subject to their owners’ rights. Access to Better Filings does not grant an unrestricted right to republish, redistribute, or resell those materials.

Experimental filing extraction processes only selected Better Filings artifacts through bounded server operations. Format, section and text support varies; OCR is not included.

Availability and account closure

We may restrict access to address abuse, security issues, or violations of these terms. The service is provided as available, without guarantees of uninterrupted access or complete data, to the extent permitted by law. Nothing here excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

You can stop using the service and revoke your credentials. Contact support to request account closure. Your information is handled as described in our privacy notice.
